PROBLEM
This is a website, not a brochure.
The original website was pieced together over 11 years by 20+ different admins resulting in an overwhelming and cluttered experience for visitors. Before I began designing, I needed to talk strategy with the stakeholders.
"I want our website to be a welcome landing place for those who google "church near me"
- Senior Pastor & Main Stakeholder
CARD SORTING
With clarity that our primary users were new visitors considering if they want to attend our church, we were able to simplify the site by consolidating over 40 pages into a more focused structure. I led a collaborative card sorting workshop with stakeholders and used the results to build a clear, streamlined sitemap.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Bringing the GFC Brand to Life
To make the website feel cohesive and human, I created detailed shot lists for each key page and directed photography on the day of. Each photo was intentional and meant to capture the warmth, diversity, and everyday life of the GFC community, helping the brand come alive across the entire site.
